Outcomes

All of the EBLC member programs have been tested in trials and controlled settings and proven to be effective. The table below offers a summary of the outcomes that have been enjoyed by participants in each category of programs. EBLC Program Outcomes

Depression Falls Management Physical Activity Chronic Disease & Medication Management

Outcomes:

Lessening of depressive symptom severity, improved quality of life, level of physical and social activity, and knowledge of depression self-management.

Outcomes:

Increased falls efficacy, falls management, falls control, exercise level, and social activities, and decrease in self-reported falls.

Outcomes:

Improvements in lower extremity stiffness, strength, aerobic capacity. Increased participation in exercise, social function. Reduction in pain level and depression. 

Outcomes:

Discontinuation of potentially harmful medicines, decreased confusion and dizziness, better pain control, decreased risk of falls, decrease in depression.
