Measuring Progress

The EBLC recommended programs have been extensively evaluated and proven to have positive health impacts.  Regardless, when you adopt one of these programs, evaluation is a must!  Measuring the progress of your program requires program evaluation, an essential component of evidence-based programs.  Evaluating your programs will provide you with key information on what is working, what isn't, who you are reaching, what impact your programs are having, and much more.  Begin developing your evaluation plan early and work toward a comprehensive plan that includes assessing program fidelity and continuous quality improvement.
