Outcomes
|
Efficacy trial results showed significant increases in self-efficacy for exercise, increased exercise participation, and decreased lower extremity stiffness and pain at two, six, and 12 months. Effectiveness trial results showed significant increases in physical activity, lower extremity function, lower extremity strength and mobility (risk factors for falls), and decreased anxiety and depression. Benefits persisted at 18 months.

Standardized forms and robust Online Data Entry Systems (ODES) for tracking and reporting. $200 annually. This is the same platform A Matter of Balance is on, so if site has the ODES for MOB, there is no additional cost.

Costs
|
$2000 license, $500 covers 1-5 trainees, plus additional costs for equipment (adjustable ankle weights, elastic resistance bands, floor mats, and participant manuals).

$3000/Yr., $50 license renewal thereafter and that covers initial training ( 1 to 15 instructor candidates per training) plus additional costs for weights, instructor and data entry system access. State and regional pricing available.

$1,500 per person; recommend two staff attend if possible.
Fee for on-location training will be based on the number of staff trained and travel expenses.
